The Border Collie Chronicles

Observations from (arguably) the World's Smartest Dogs;
(but, without question, the bestest friends!)
or, Life As We Understand It, as told from dad's shop.

Gall … Unsaid.

Gall died in dad’s arms on October 4, 2017 after 11.5 years of keeping us company and keeping us safe!  There were some articles in the works from Ms. Gall that will ultimately get published and credited to her, but we also had a lot of unpublished photos and a number of quotes that were tagged with her name and were planned on being used as inspiration for a future Gall story or companions to stories.  We just wanted to share a few of these with ya’ll as a final nod to our superstar athlete.

GALL:  aka Baby Gal, aka Killer (isn't that a combination??!!), aka R2, aka Girlfriend, aka Flash, aka Buppy.  She was Roo's #1 pup and was the smallest (and most ferocious) of all of them!  She mostly liked people - it was just any kind of animal (outside of the crew) that she had a hard time tolerating.  Gall was extremely intelligent, extremely sweet and she seemed timid - but stand between her and her appointed job (or critter ... or wherever she wanted to be) ... WATCH OUT!!!

Here's to my Sweet Baby Gall!
