Rooney ... Unsaid.
As you know, we lost Patches and Rooney on August 18th. We already had all of the articles written through September (and decided that we would proceed with what had already been drafted). We were thinking about how to move forward with this site while still giving the proper tip of our Resistol's to these two family members ... each had several unfinished "stories", there are a bunch of unpublished photos and we have a number of quotes that were waiting, tagged with their names, as companions to their stories or to use as inspiration for an article by them. We wanted to share just a few ...
This is not intended to be overly sad or mushy ... just a little final tribute to my friend ... my Buppy!
Rooney: aka Momma Roo (Mom-R), aka Roosevelt, aka Mac-A-Rooney, aka Roo, aka RoonErRator, aka Baby Roo, aka Yoda, aka Buppy, aka GirlFriend, aka Freckles (nee), or anything else that dad called her. She was the matriarch, momma, voice, and boss of this whole stinkin' BC Clan. Dad and mom-D picked her up at the Hard Rock Ranch, and mom-D thought that she would be her dog ... well, while Roo did love her D - she was every bit dad's buppy! Roo learned to "speak" early on, maybe it was dad constantly saying "RooRooRooRooRooRoo" (try it to yourself - sounds like a dog "talking" doesn't it?!) That's what Roo would do when things weren't going her way - or even if they were! She definitely kept everyone in their place around here. Fiercely loyal to her brood, her people, and her place - but was extremely gentle with people - she was welcoming and inviting to all people that she encountered, but intolerant to animals outside of her crew. The only BC that had full access to all parts of the house, she was dad's companion and accepted dad's moods and rants! Her number was 35 (on dad and mom-D's Select Comfort bed!) |

The greater the loyalty of a group toward the group, the greater is
the motivation among the members to achieve the goals of the group,
and the greater the probability that the group will achieve its
goals.

If the people who make the decisions are the people who will also
bear the consequences of those decisions, perhaps better decisions
will result.

The fastest way

A dog can express more with his tail in
